When examining network traffic, IT professionals, penetration testers and others need to identify the equipment generating the network traffic. One way to do this is to identify the equipment manufacturer/vendor from the globally unique address space that the MAC address comes from.
This fast, lightweight tool holds an OFFLINE database (meaning no Internet connection is required) of over 30,000 current MAC address registrations. Results are retrieved instantly as the MAC address is entered.
